Here’s how it works.

  1. Turn the power on by sliding the "Off/On" switch to the right.
  2. Enter the program mode by pressing the PGM button
  3. Use the knob to set the number of beats in a cycle and the beat to begin on.
  4. Push the PGM button again.
  5. To set accent or regular beats turn the knob to the desired beat number and push down on the knob. To set rest beats double click on the knob. To cancel rest beats double click on the knob again.
  6. Store the rhythm by pushing the ST/CL button.
  7. Push the STOP/RUN button twice, once to recall the rhythm, and once to play it.

For example, to enter a 12-beat rhythm
with accents on 3, 6, 8, 10, 12:

  1. Push the PGM button once. You will see the LEN (Length) light flashing.
  2. Turn the knob clockwise and roll the digits to 12. This will set the rhythm length to 12 beats.
  3. Push the PGM button again to make the ACC (Accent) light flash.
  4. Turn the knob to adjust the display to the beat number you wish to accent and press down on the knob. Repeat this procedure for each accented beat ( 6, 8, 10, 12 in a standard bulerias rhythm).
  5. Store the rhythm by pushing the ST/CL button.
  6. Push the STOP/RUN button twice, once to recall the rhythm, and once to play it.
  7. Adjust the tempo to the desired speed. To view the BPM press down on the knob. To see the beats being counted out press down on the knob again
