to announce that we carry the flamenco guitar instructional
videos by Guillermo Rios. These videos are excellent
for taking a student from beginning flamenco to being able
to improvise on the forms.
The first tape is basic
tequniches of flamenco guitar, and is an exellent warm up
set of exercises to make the playing of it work simply and
easily as it should.
The second is Solea, and
alegrias. There are no accompanying books as the purpose is
not to learn verbatim falsettas, but to learn how to improvise
your own. The third tape is free forms such as Tarantas and
Granainas, much of which is in the modern style of Paco De
Lucia and Vincente amigo. These tapes are exellent for accelerating
your playing if you are stuck in the "learning falsetas and
plugging them in" stage of flamenco guitar.
Each tape
is 30.00$ USD or 45.00$ Canadian funds plus postage and handeling
